Genoa's aquarium

Inaugurated in 1992 for the celebration of the 500th anniversary of Columbus's discovery of the New World, the Aquarium welcomes over a million visitors every year. The Aquarium is situated conveniently in the Old harbor, near the Bigo elevator and Biosphere. It's a nice way to hide from the afternoon sun and also entertaining. I could have stayed there and watch the dolphins playing for hours .. so relaxing ..

Genoa aquarium is one of the largest in Europe and is on the 13th place on Tripadvisor's Top 25 aquariums in the world with more than 15000 sea creatures, seals, dolphins, sweet penguins, jellyfish and sharks swimming in six million litres of water. Moored at the end of a walkway is the ship Nave Blu, refurbished in July 2013 as a unique floating display.
A bit expensive, but it's worth one visit
a tip: with the ticket from acquarium you get a discount for the Bigo elevator...but check this info first.. it can change.

here are two videos ... how cute are they?

Safe travels ;)
