I've never seen so many crystals in one
place, it's like a small paradise where everything sparkles.. just
the way I like it and those who know me .. know what am I talking
about :)
What's the best activity to do on a
rainy day? Beside staying in bed all day cuddling and watching
movies? Something you can do indoor and won't make you catch a cold -
going to a museum ..
Yeah, right.. I don't like museums that
much but when it comes to sparkles.. ohh I so can make this
'sacrifice' . Swarovski Kristallwelten – a
sparkling fantasy ...
Crystals are all over the museum.. right at the entrance of the museum there's a fountain
Inside the museum there's a wall made of crystals and in the center of the room there's a HUGE crystal. It is the biggest crystal in the world, it weights 310.000 carats

Crystal Dome - seems like you're inside a huge crystal where lights and reflexes come from the 595 mirrors
Crystal Caligraphy
The Ice Passage - a long hall with a wall 42m long and 11m high made of crystals. The floor looks like ice and when you step it seems that you're breaking the ice - very creative.
Poseidon's Puzzle it's a wonderful waved tunnel which reflects underwater life.
Crystal Stage:
Swarovski Cafè-Terra which I would avoid . I don't think the coffee is also made of Swarovski...
It's an interesting museum. Beautiful, creative and sparkling. Definitely worth a visit .. Unfortunately the park was closed, it was under construction ...In may 2015 they should have open it... so you probably will see many other new things .
I love swarovski crystals - what a fascinating museum experience!
ReplyDeleteI never knew there was a whole museum dedicated to the beautiful jewels! But where is it exactly? (sorry can't seem to find it in your article)
ReplyDeleteOh sorry, I used to have a map on the rght side of the blog with the location...wich it's not there anymore.. It's in Wattens, Austria... near Inssbruck
DeleteOh wow, so sparkly! Did you get any free souvenirs?! :) That crystal is massive by the way, I wonder how much it weighs! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteuhm,no unfortunately there's nothing free in there))))
DeleteI never knew there was a museum for Swarovski, but I am not surprised. Very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have driven by this many times but never have gone in. Next time i am in Innsbruck I will try to get in.
ReplyDeleteI think it's worth one visit especially if you're driving by ;)
DeleteWow, more sparkles than I've probably ever seen in one place, for sure. I'm not much into museums either, but this one might make the list.
ReplyDeleteit's one of the few museums I actually liked *blushing*
