Venice: Festival of the Redeemer

Festival of the Redeemer is Venetian's favourite festival .  Though it has religious roots, today it's an excuse for fireworks which by the way are great with reflections on the water, an amazing view also have all the boats decorated with lights, baloons and flowers

Rome.Losing the train.

OK, this is really embarassing... and it happened for the first time to me.
So, my adventurous trip to Rome, ended up with losing the last fast Italo train for that day, from Rome. The trouble was that I absolutely had to be at work at 7 o'clock in the morning next day.

Rome.A trip to remember

Rome is old and huge. While I was there, I couldn't help but wonder how old that city actually is...
with an awful traffic, tangled streets and let's skip the part about parking. So, if you don't know the streets ... don't rent a car or you're only gonna lose a lot of time in traffic (or the train, like me) and you can easily get lost even with the navigator.

London is one of the most exciting cities and my favorite so far . This was my first trip alone abroad, so I was very excited, curious, and nervous at the same time. There are countless fantastic places and so many things to see, do and try.

Florence - the city of Art

The first thing I fell in love with in Florence was the architecture. A breathtaking view of the beautiful historical buildings. Santa Maria del Fiorence Cathedral, the baptistery and Bell Tower are the symbols of the city for centuries now… these along with the Ponte Vecchio, Galleria dell’Academia, Galleria degli  Uffizi, Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio, are the most famous monuments of the city.

Travelicious memories

I have already talked a little about myselfNow I'll say something about Travelicious Memories.

Relax at Jesolo Lido

Jesolo is in the north of Venice and it's one of the most popular coasts in Italy. Many tourists choose it as their holliday destination.  It's beautiful and entertaining,  there are a lot of things you can do and see in Jesolo. I went for a few days to relax all by myself before my vacation ended. I loved the breathtaking sunrise and sunsets ...

Burano a little fantasy

One of the  few places I really loved is the pretty Burano, an island in the Northern Venetian Lagoon. It's like a little fantasy, beautiful and colorful... I could wander on it's streets for hours and never get enough of it...

Venice.. the beautiful Venice .. I love it and I think I'm lucky to live so near. I've been to Venice x times but every time I go I still find a corner or a place I haven't seen before...
On my first time there I took a look at the map but then I closed it, and said 'let's go,get lost' ...

About me

My name is Lucy (actually Lucia) and I’ve been dreaming to travel since forever. I’m slowly getting around. 3 years ago I’ve moved to Italy, a really beautiful country. I’m living in a small town in Veneto and while I’m still here - I plan to see as much of it as possible.
